I raised a GM ticket over my apparently broken Firstaid quest. I made
sure that I put it under the catagory "NPCs: Quest". Here is the reply I
got from Blizzard.

Haha, I tried to submit feedback on that link but it wouldn't let me - it
said my name and e-mail address weren't entered correctly, even though
THERE WERE NO SUCH ENTRY FIELDS ON THE PAGE!!!

Well, they gave you the wrong canned cut'n'paste response, but trust me,
even if they'd given you the right one, it wouldn't have helped.

The _correct_ response for the broken First Aid quest is: "Known bug,
developers are working on it[1], there is nothing that can be done to
fix your problem at this time. Go away."

[1] and have been since beta

what is broken about the first aid quest? I completed all the first aid
quests easily and quickly in one day - this was about 3 weeks ago. I never
had a single issue - so what is the problem?

For some people, after completing the first aid quest they are still stuck
at 225/225 skill level. I've heard that can happen with cooking and fishing
too. Some people say if you have materials on hand to skillup to 226 before
leaving the area then you wont have the bug, and some people have said that
doesnt help.

Sorry guys, that's because the link in the email I got had my
"fair-dinkum" email address on the end, which I deleted to avoid an

Quite right. We dubbed them BCMs - Blizzard Crack-Monkeys. I was
assuming most people here wouldn't be aware of the rampant drug use at
Blizzard HQ.

Apparently it's broken for *some* people. If they knew why only some
people can't do it, they could probably fix it. What it means to me is
that my main character will never be able to use Heavy Mageweave
bandages and so will be playing under a disadvantage for the rest of his
playable life.
