MSI ATI RADEON 7970 Temperature question Help!!!

Hi guys.

I just built my first gaming build in a few years. My CPU temp runs at around 40-50 both while gaming and at rest.

My MSI ATI Radeon 7970 GPU (at manufacture condition) runs at 40C at rest and goes up to 70C+ while gaming. so far i have tried to max out cysis and AION online.

I have seen people saying in their posts that their CPU temperatures are between 25 and 40. and GPUs runs less or equal to the temperature i am getting at over clock speed.

I am wondering if I have done something wrong to get this heat. or is it normal?

my specs:

CPU: I5 3570K
CPU Fan: 92mm Xixgmatex cpu fans
GPU: MSI ATI Radeon 7970
Memory: Corsair 8gb
MB: Gigabyte Z77 U5DH
Case: Cooler Master 922 HAF

that sounds bout right, on my 7950 i get 75 with it clocked at 1000 and memory at 1575 mhz
