COnfirmation of email fail

Hello I can't confirm my email.

it gives error message that link could not be used and to contact and administrator.

Here is how you can resend your confirmation e-mail:

1. Go to www.tomshardware.com and click log out in the upper right, if you are logged in currently.

2. In the upper right click Sign In.

3. A window will pop up. In that window, click the link that says "You did not receive the confirmation email?"

4. Input your e-mail address, and the confirmation e-mail should be resent.

There is no such link in the signin window.

I had had an account for years and when I tried to add an image to a question says I need to confirm. I can find NO means of actually doing this

Here is the sign in screen there is NO resend confirmation link anywhere. the FAQ is equally useless

OK I use alias' so it was easy enough to just add a number to the address I get from tom's hardware which initiated another verification

THIS is the address in the message. I am not sure if this is a "on off" address or if anyone can use it but it might help

yes jpishgar that is precisely what I did. alas that only works if you HAVE another address since I have a domain I just use another alias. I am not sure what will happen if you change it to a fictitious address and then change it back again.

When you are logged in, click on your profile name in the upper-right hand corner.
Select "Manage my profile". Then go to Account settings. Change your email address to something else, then change it back. It will send the email confirmation message. Click on the link in the message to reconfirm your email account.
