I think I'd chuck that case for a HAF 912 (or Antec 300 V2 - can't go wrong either way), and then watch low voltage RAM on Sandy / Ivy Bridge builds - you'll need 1.5V minimum.

bummer is that processor is in store only.

Also, the case is usually one place you can sacrifice say $20 to beef up another part with a $20 batter part with little impact other than aesthetics. find a decent looking $40 case and you can spend another $20 on the video card for example.

your first build is perfect, altough if you want a bit more performance get a i5 3570k and the motherboard is fine, no need to change it, unless you live near a microcenter then pick a asrock z77 extreme 4 like bliq00 said

its not a damage but the price diference is nule (15-20$) so make yourself a favor and get it
