Correct Power supply for this machine?

I am planning on buying all of this but need to know what the correct power supply would be. I was thinking 750 watt but a friend says to go with 650 watt, your thoughts?

ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe
Intel Core i7-3770K Quad-Core Processor 3.5 GHz
Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB SATA III 7200 RPM
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB
ASUS GTX650TI
ASUS Blu-ray Burner SATA
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus CPU Fan
Cooler Master HAF X RC-942 Case

+ two Seagate Barracuda 250GB Hard Drives.

Thanks.

  1. btw i dont plan on overclocking. i am buying this as a workstation for music production, photo editing, and video editing with some light gaming (Starcraft II, Diablo III, and Sim City 4)
  2. Considering that GTX 650 Tis don't even use 100W under load and that your CPU is a 77 watt part, your maximum power consumption is very unlikely to be above 200W, therefore 650W is overkill even if you add another GTX 650 Ti.

So you should only get a 650/750W PSU if you have serious plans to upgrade your GPU in the future to something much more power hungry.
