I have 3 computers that I'm going to set up on a wireless ad-hoc Windows 7 network. Imagine them on a line in 2 dimensions. We'll call them A, B, and C. They are each separated by 30 feet, with B in the middle. That is, the distance from A to B is 30 feet, B to C is 30 feet, and A to C is 60 feet.
A --- 30 --- B --- 30 --- C
|----------- 60 ------------|
One of these nodes will be connected to the internet and will share the connection over the wireless ad-hoc network. Ideally, this would be node B. However, this is not possible, and node A is the only one that can connect to the Internet (LAN connection). It will create / host the ad-hoc network.
My question:
Will requests / data from node C be repeated by node B on this ad-hoc wireless network, or will C have to talk directly to A over this long distance?
Thank you for any help you can provide.
