ok so my freind knows not much about PCs but likes PC gaming, and when the local internet cafe (where he played) shut down he was like "I NEED A PC!!!!"

but him being clueless about coumputers he asked me, since i know a tiny bit more.

He asked for:
A computer under $800
USB 2.0 (or 3.0) out puts
+ basically every other out-put
can play: Minecraft, Starcraft 2, Team Fortress 2, and Skyrim on normal graphics although would be nice for higher.
wants cheapest possible set up.
nice audio out put would be prefered.

and i was like   too specific D:
but i remembered this site, where i got help on another problem, and knowing how smart you guys are do you know what would be good???

i was thinking something like this http://www.lucomputers.com/site/system_view.asp?cid=407...
but it is a bit over his price range.
i think ideally he wants $700 ish ideally but said if its really nice he might be able to put it at $800

also remember we live in canada.
and we are pretty nooby at computers.

oh and could you do a set up that would wow him?
i kinda want to impress him :D D
thats why i chose something a bit over his price range but...
if its possible to make it less....

IDK D:

please help.
thx.

Try the i5 3450 for the CPU, and the Radeon 7870 for your GPU.
And the Sandisk Extreme G25 120gb ssd
Then chose the rest yourself, i would suggest an Asrock Extreme4 Motherboard but it could break your budget!
Are there any parts you already have? I could help you further!

That looks like a good computer but it's a little unbalanced. It needs a hard drive instead of an SSD to start with. 60 GB is not enough space. Only get an SSD if you already have a decent size hard drive (500 GB or better) that you can install after you get the computer. You should also add the Cooler master Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler. You could probably do just fine with a Radeon HD 7770 graphics card as well.

If you delete the SSD and add the Seagate Barracuda 1 TB, add a Cooler master Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler, and change the graphics to Gigabyte Radeon HD 7770 OC it comes out to $781.87. That looks a little better balanced for what you are using it for.

I think those parts would be out of his budget since he needs everything

Monitor - $130 for the cheapest decent 1920x1080
OS - $100 win7 home
keyboard - $25 cheapest programmable gaming keyboard
mouse - $40 minimum for a high negative tracking threshold, high dpi, dpi switchable mouse.

So, that's $295 before we even get to the box. You have roughly a $500 budget for the actual PC.
