Connecting 2 AP's to Modem

Hi,
I have a DSL line with a Netopia 3346n Modem. I also have connected a Cisco 1142 AP, but also wanted to connect a Cisco WAP4410N AP as a repeater. When I connect the repeater, I get connected with limited connectivity. I realize this is a DHCP issue. How can I work around this problem?

did you make sure that the APs' IP matches the LAN IP of the Netopia?

if the Netopia's IP is 192.168.10.1, the APs have to have an IP that is 192.168.10.253 and 192.168.10.252

Are the systems connected to that second AP getting the correct IP and Gateway settings?

Sorry guys, I had some computer issues that kept me from getting back onthe internet. Emarald, do you mean that the ip addresses on the AP's have to be set in that order, or just on the same subnet? I will set them and test.

I am not completely sure. I how can I tell which AP I connect to? I assigned both AP's with the same SSID.

I don't think Windows will tell you, but if you connect to the AP setup page, it will tell you what computers are attached to it.

Okay, I will take a look. My setup is at another location, and I will test this evening and report back tomorrow.
