Keep seeing uninitialized disk

November 3, 2012 9:30:33 PM

I got a new 2 TB hard disk (internal) and mounted it onto my docking unit. Went into computer management to initialize the disc and then began formatting. I was upto 75% when the electricity went out (I hope nothing is wrong with the disc :(  ), and after they got back, I went into computer management to begin all-over when I saw a disc1 that is apparently uninitialized and another disk 2 that appears to be my 2TB disk (although the file system is reported as being "raw"). Attempts at initializing or removing this disk 1 are futile. Is something terribly wrong and how can I fix this?

This is occurring on a Lenovo Y580 laptop.

Thanks in advance

Guess there is no one with any idea on this issue then?
