I tried to apply an adjustment layer to many images by following the
PSE 3 help on duplicating layer:
Drag the layer's name from the Layers palette of the source image
into the destination image.
But this doesn't work for me. So I am forced to go to the
Layer>Duplicate Layer menu to copy the layer to one image at a time,
which is a big hassle for a large number of destination images.
Does this drag-and-drop layer feature work for anyone? Did I have some
configuration issue?

I think if you select the layer that you want to duplicate in the laters
pallette, right mouse click on the layer there's an option to duplicate.
