looking for a X- mas upgrade

I'm guessing it would depend on what what you would be using the monitor for. As a gaming monitor the 12ms response time would be not a good feature since you want to try and get the lowest ms response time as possible.For just video work it would be great since it has the pivot feature so when you go to potrait mode the whole screen could be used.

I really not sure tho what would be better, getting a IPS Monitor or a 120 Hz
