I'm going to buy a flatscreen in two weeks, because my current crt monitor uses to much space on my desk.

now i've seen that there are two types of flatscreens: lcd and tft. i believe tft is better than lcd. is this correct? i know that there is a risc of death pixels on an lcd dislpay, but can these death pixels also occur on tft displays??

just want to know something more about those two variants..
thx in advance!

TFT stands for Thin Film Transistor, and is an LCD technology. It is not a seperate type of flat panel.
