This falls into multiple categories of this forum, so I'll just put it here.

I recently bought a TRENDnet TEW-436BRM to replace a broken modem/router (combined into one device). Today, I was trying to set up port forwarding, which I had successfully done with the previous router. However, after I entered the information for the ports to be forwarded and restarted the router, an external connection on port 80 goes to the router control panel and the one on port 25565 is refused.

I've even tried setting up DMZ for the server. However, it still doesn't work. Does anyone know why this is happening or what I can do to make it work?

Actually, I figured this out. My router was redirecting me to the control panel if I accessed it from the LAN. However, if I access it using an external computer, it redirects me to the correct internal server.

Thanks for the help provided! :)
