Can't install graphics card.

My system won't detect my graphics card which is a Palit GeForce GTS 450 1024MB GDDR5. Gigabyte H61M-S2v-B3 Motherboard. i-5 Processor. 8GB Mem. ATX-500 Power Supply. Win 7 Home. Please, can anyone tell me how to get the system to detect it so that I can install the drivers ? Thanks.

More about install graphics card
  1. Install the card into your pc, then boot it up and install the drivers. Also make sure you have the latest bios updates and try a different PCI slot if it still does'nt work. If that doesnt work then install the drivers before you install the card. Does it appear in device manager? if it does then just install driver and you should be good to go.

Nope, it doesn't appear in device manager.
There's only the one PCI-E slot on the motherboard.
