Do the Dell Optiplex GX280 have the same mother board as the GX280DT?
Can I remove the hard drive from my GX280 and install it in the GX280DT?
I want to save all the programs and data on the GX280 hard drive, any ideas?

You should have no problem installing the hard drive in the other computer. If you are looking to save your data with multiple USB drives or an external hard drive to take what you have on that hard drive that is important. I would recommend you format the hard drive and re-install the OS after you install it into the other computer.
