so the following is my build which im buying shortly and i was wondering if i would require more parts such as cables that are not included.

Your motherboard will come with two sata cables.
You need 3.
SSD, dvd, HDD.

I suggest you buy the intel 330 120gb ssd instead.

It is the same price, but comes with a sata cable and a 2.5/3.5 adapter if you need one.
Also, it has a 0-1 egg dissatisfaction rate of 4%
Compare to the vertex3 @ 21%.

Otherwise, all your parts look good.

From a convenience point of view, buy a #2 magnetic tip phillips head screwdriver.
It is invaluable when holding screws for assembly.

You get a couple of sata leads in with the mobo as usual so you won't need any of those,**Edit, missed the Ssd at the bottom of the list, you will need one sata lead

Your Psu has the required lines for the graphics card so you are fine mate,
You may want to consider more fans, especially if you want to overclock at some point but other than that go for it

it's twenty pounds more expensive in the uk on amazon if you can find a good uk deal i would be greatful but otherwise it's not worth the extra money

Ebuyer have them for £70, but a unknown vendor says £46, I'd still go with the intel personally as I know and trust Dabs

but the ocz is 120 gb.

Some vendors advertise 128gb, others 120gb.
In fact, the useable amount is about 110gb from either. The difference is the amount reserved for performance and safety.

£57 is the cheapest I can find the 120Gb, and thats from the unknown, if you are insistant on an ssd it may be worth trying him, pay with paypal or cc to cover yourself though

As far as I can tell, the vertex 3 does not include any sata cable.
No doubt you can order one from amazon for not very much.

It looks like the Intel 330 is the same price.
