Hi there, I'm looking to upgrade from my old 9800GT (yes, I know what u r thinking xD) to something that can bang the new games in high 1920x1080 resolution.

My current specs:

OCZ 500W ModXStream
Asus F1A75-M PRO Motherboard (M-ATX, Socket FM1, DDR3, Dual Intelligent Processors 2 with DIGI+ VRM)
Corsair 8GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3
W7 64bit
nVidea 9800GT
AMD Athlon II X4 631 Quad Core

I usually don't play first person shooters (I leave that to my xbox), more the RPG-action base games type or MMO and RTS, so yh, loads of smooth graphics. My current graphic card was able to play Skyrim in medium settings in a good day xD But it gets so hot that I needed to take out the case. After playing D3 demo, starcraft and Lineage 2, I realize that the card reached it's limits. 3 years now since I got that graphic card, and I think that is time to say good bye to my card.

My current budge: $150

Reading here and there, HD 6850 and 7770 are the favorites between the community.

On Tom's Hardware Graphics Card Hierarchy Chart they are on the exact same level.

I am 99% sure the 7770 uses less power and is newer, so I would go with that one.
