can i display my computer on my television with the type of display adaptor that i have on my computer? it is an intel 82915g/gv/910gl express chipset family.

If it uses the 15-pin vga connector and the TV has a 15-pin vga input then it will work. You could also check for a composite output on your rear panel as most tv's support that.

i have a vga/component cable and have connected it to my computer and tv. when its connected, it displays a message that i need to configure my output settings, the refresh rate, and/or resolution on my pc to match my tv. i dont know what to set it to. my tvs model number is 32pfl3506/f7 a philips. my pc is a dell dimension e310, with a display adaptor intel 82915g/gv/910gl express chipset family. would you be able to help me with this info?
