HAF 932 Brackets Broke

Hi,

I was wondering if its even possible to replace the brackets which hold the graphics card or any other device you put on the pci slots, because i was an idiot and didnt know how to use the bracket and broke like 2 of them

When i mean bracket - when you put in a graphics card then you click it in with a holder (bracket)

Is there anyway to replace it or get an alternative fix

More about brackets broke
  1. Anyone?
  2. You could try asking Cooler Master for a replacement. It's worth a shot even if they say no.

But if that doesn't work out, then you could get something like this: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=130_176&products_id=26771

I hope we are referring to the same bracket (I don't have the 932 sorry). If we are, you honestly don't really need that bracket. I'm not saying to forget about it, but your graphics card would be fine without it :)

  3. Well i broke like 2 of them because i am an idiot and just worried if i buy something like the asus DCU2 670 that it wont hang without the support of the bracket

Though my gtx 670 ftw seems to be fine without the brackets
  4. ill take a picture of it and post it in 15 minutes

gonna benchmark crysis 2 first lol xd

It shouldn't but I wouldn't worry. ASUS wouldn't design card to not work without the bracket.

I know this is off-topic, but why would you get a DCU2? Do you not like your FTW? Just curious as I also have a 670 FTW :)

    Go water cooling! Haha

*EDIT: That'd be a good solution to look into. I would say look at the Accelero Hybrid, but it's so expensive!

Ok go take a picture of that bracket now :)

  8. its those clamps that are broken ( broke like 4 in total rofl :( )

btw what water cooling are you using on your GPU?

Woah you broke the bracket and clamps? What motherboard are you using? If you have multiple PCIe 2.0 (or 3.0) x16 slots, then I suppose you could just use another slot...

And right now I have the stock cooler on my 670. But I am going to get a custom water cooling loop very soon (hopefully ordering tonight).

Ohhhh ok phew that's a relief. Well you can either move your card to the other PCIe 3.0 slot or just leave your card in the top slot and get something like that "Cardkeeper" I linked you to.

  12. eh the gtx 670 is perfectly still lol XD
