Can I use ADSL2+ Modem on DSL Service

HI there, I plan on moving to a new internet service provider within a few weeks time, and I have a question.

I'm going with TekSavvy, and they have a DSL plan which is quite worth it, and I'm in need of a modem when I make the switch. I think I made up my mind on which modem I want, but I just need to know.. can I use ADSL2+ on the DSL service I am going to get?

If you need to know what modem I'm going for, I'm going with "TP-LINK TD-W8960N, 300Mbps Wireless N ADSL2+ Modem Router"

call the ISP and make sure it is compatible with their system.

personally I always like to use separate modem and router
