There are 4 cores in my CPU and only 1 core is enabled (as per Hardware Diagnostic Tools Log File). I have an HP a6720y PC Pavilion. A "How to", would be great!
Thanx, mhorsehead
There should be a option in BIOS where you can find a CPU core control. Im not sure what motherboard you have so its hard to say where it would be, but mostly located in the Cell Menu.
the number of cores can also be limited by the OS.
run msconfig and go to the boot tab and then click on advanced options. Make sure the "number of processors" box is unchecked. if not, uncheck and save and reboot.
