I just changed from a 6510 to a 6230. I got a new SIM with my new phone so I
copied all the numbers on the old SIM into the 6510's memory (Names - copy).
Then put new SIM into 6510 and copy the numbers back to the (new) SIM. Its
then ready to put back into the 6230.

Depending on the network (and whether you are changing network) you may need
one of the phones to be unlocked - use the unlocked one to do the copying.

Cheers, JL

You should try Mobius from logomanager.co.uk. I used it with my 7210
and 6230 when I changed phones, to transfer the phonebook. Not sure if
the 6230 is officially supported yet, but just install the trial of
MobiMB after the trial of Mobius, and it worked for me.
