Hello,

I am thinking about getting a new computer but have no idea where to start. This will be used for some recreational gaming and everyday things including programs that may be needed through college. My budget is less than $1,000. I hardly know anything about what I need to be able to play new games and work for everyday things.

Do you need to buy OS: I don't know what that means

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Dell maybe I'm not sure.

Parts Preferences: Intel

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: I don't know

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: Will be playing Skyrim and newer games and doing schoolwork on it

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Would like to have a nice computer to myself

If you are buying in a year, you don't want to look now. New stuff will be out, especially in the tech world, a year is a very long time.
