Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

The router will have come with instructions as to how to set it up to recognise and log you into your Internet Service Provider and how to set up a secure network with a wireless security key. Once that is done, the computer end of things depends on which version of Windows you use but all of them show a wireless icon in the bottom right corner of the screen which you right click and scroll to your network (named in the router manual or changed by you) then you click to Connect and enter that security key.
