I have a p5k motherboard with PCIe 1.0 and fsb up to 1033
PTU VP-420-S120 420W
CPU is E4500 dual core 2.2 @800
8gb (4x2) of ram @ 677
And dead GPU :(

What would be the considerable options of GPU that I aim 3dmax and gaming as well, not bottleneck with cpu, dual display and since I'm using lower graphics (1024) I don't vram to be more then 1gig.

I'm thinking of hd 6670 since I'm really on budget and it can reach up to £60 max.

I would be really grateful if You would help,
Thank You,
Laimis

For a tight budget, that card will do extremely well... especially at the lowly resolution of 1024x768. In fact, it will probably be able to give good frame rates with your dual core up to 1680x1050 (with some eye candy reduced). What was your card that died?

My last card I had was (I think - because that was long time ago) Nvidia 8600. That is super slummy compared to 6670.

So I finally came with decision to buy 6670 Gddr5 version adding extra 10 quid. So I'll pay 64 quid total. I think I cought a bargain for new.

That is a good bargain! The specification and core clock is also fantastic!
