I currently have a cheap 500w PSU which is fine for powering my system now but I want a new one in case this one blows and for powering future upgrades. I'm prepared to pay the money for a good brand (Corsair, OCZ, Zalman) but don't know how many watts I need.

Here's what it's going to be powering in the future:

AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE
AsRock 970 Extreme3 Motherboard
Hitachi 320GB 7200rpm HDD
OCZ Petrol 64GB SSD
DVD drive
8 case fans
Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 (Possibly Crossfire but probably not)
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler

Thanks, I'll probably go with the the PSU you recommended or a 600w Corsair PSU as I like Corsair. When I put the components in I hope to buy it came up with 450w but I hope to hook up my surround sound and fan controller.

Thanks
