I just did a new build with an AMD 5600K APU on a ASRock FM2A75M-DGS board, Windows 7, 4 GB Ballistix RAM. Well about every ten mins the screen will go black for about 2 seconds then turn back on. I did the drivers from AMD's wesite and not ASRock's. I also cleared the CMOS and nothing changed. What should my next step be? Thanks.

Hi, I would firstly check the power plan settings in Windows.

I reset power options to default. Since this build is at work, I will try a different monitor and report the results. Thank you all.

OMG, thank goodness, you have this problem too. I thought I was having a black-outs or a stroke or something. When you get to my age you can't be too careful. And seeing as I don't have a long time left on this planet, did anyone figure out what's causing this yet? I have only tried one monitor so far but my hunch is its AMD's on-board VGA controller having a hard time at 1920 × 1200. Anyone figured it out yet?
