More about phenom black edition 4300 8ghz
  1. With the more refined architecture+Clock speed boost on the FX-4300, they're about on-par with each other.
  2. Go for the one that is cheaper, they are pretty much the same as far as performance goes. And I'm quite happy with my 965, it's a beast at less than $100!

  3. I have my 965 OC'd to 4.1Ghz and it is amazing at gaming. I would highly recommend it because it's so cheap and you get more than what you pay for.
  4. I had a 965 before I went intel, and it was beast. As for deciding over a FX processor I wouldnt says its worth it to go with the 4300, or rather any other FX. It just doesnt offer anything that the phenom series cant provide.
  5. like UnlimitedBanana said, both of them are on same degree except 965BE Beats FX in single Threaded Apps other than that you could buy a FX 6300 and oc it to 4.5ghz you would get a little faster than 965BE

    +1

Owning two Phenom II X4 955's, I still love them to death

But, as I've said in my first post, they're on-par with each other. Go for the one you can afford :)
