AMD CCC - Force Vsync

Evening,

Could any AMD GPU owners please confirm whether forcing vsync and trip[le buffering in CCC actually works now? I'm on the verge of purchasing a gaming laptop with a 7970M, but cannot stand screen tearing.

Well I have no problems with my Crossfire 6950>6970's. I don't would not have a gaming laptop but you should not have any problems if the setting work the same as they do on discrete cards I would say you should be ok.

I always enable triple buffering through the CCC, once I enabled V.Sync but it didn't work for all games, but it's 100% working when you enable it via game settings, you can download FRAPS and make sure yourself.

Does anyone know of any decent applications I could use to make up for the possible lack of CCC force vsync and triple buffering such as D3D Overrider?

I've heard that D3D Overrider crashes games since Win 7 SP1 - can anyone confirm this?
