Looking for best 7970

Don't have the patience to wait for the 680 to be in stock and I'm not willing to pay an additional $100-200 more than the factory price on amazon....so I was told the 7970 is the next best thing.

My tentative gaming desktop build can be found in here:

I was recommended this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150596

However, I was browsing through some other 7970s and it seemed like sapphire and msi had more consistently high reviews for their product.

As far as the 7970 market goes, what do you guys recommend? Or do you recommend something else, given my build? Let's say the budget is $500-550 from newegg

More about looking 7970
  1. I don't like XFX myself, seen a lot of complaints about them. I always go Sapphire, though MSI & Asus are great too.
If i make a purchase i'd go with the Sapphire

Also, according to the latest article of Toms, the HIS ICEQX was the best performer, with just a little degrees higher than the Sapphire in temps.

I always buy Sapphire but I think the Sapphire 2 fan version is looks before good design therefore bought the Gigabyte Windforce instead and so far have found it quiet and powerful.
