Scan to Computer problem

Hello,
I can print to my wireless printer...but, I cannot scan back to computer...message says "no computer found"....."make sure the printer software is installed on your computer, and that 'scan to computer' is enabled via the printer software"........can someone help? thanks

which printer/scanner are we talking about?

have the same problem with epson sx445w

nothing i tried would allow epson scan to work except with the pc connected to it with usb cable

though wireless printing works fine wireless scannings having none of it
