Need a good graphics card recommendation

Guys i'm back once again struggling with trying to choose a graphics card. Give me any recommendations for cards that you've used or just know a lot about. I'm willing to look into any card as long as it is under $600. Keep in mind that i am trying to keep prices down so I guess i mostly want to know what is the Best Bang For Your Buck type of card(Bang for your buck prices to me are anything under $400) If you can please post a link. CPU, Motherboard, Ram, type of OS, How many and what type of moniter.
What do you use your PC primary for, Gaming(What game), Movie(BD, HD, Downloaded) etc

And you do know that Tom's hardware generally have a monthly comparasion of current graphic card based on price and such, right?

Well, you can get very good cards under 600

Monitor: HD Sony 3D Display.
Mostly going to be used for gaming
