No that board will not support it. It is not a good gaming CPU. On a budget you are better of with a FX4170 or FX4300 from AMD or Intel I3, I5.

DDR2 RAM will not fit in a DDR3 channel because it is split in a different area. And processor cores and speed go hand and hand. It's best to have high speeds on a quad core for todays gaming. I suggest you buy a new motherboard with the FX4300 like rolli59 said.

Here is my motherboard recommendation.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

It's cheap, has dual channel RAM, and has an x16 2.0 slot for your 6670.

Buy at least 8GB of RAM because the prices are so low as of now.

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

133Mhz RAM speeds, fastest your motherboard will support.

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

500W will give you plenty of headroom and to make sure you're not working your PSU to the point that it overheats.

Any more questions, post a reply.
