I got a CM Storm Trooper case and ASUS Sabertooth X79 Motherboard. Looking at the front panel, the case has an female E-sata connector (slots on both sides). The cable coming out of the nest however looks like a standard male Sata 3Gb or 6Gb connector (L shape slot). So, I am basically not sure if this is an E-sata cable.
1) Should I try and replace the cable and pass a new one through the case to connect it to the e-sata port on the rear I/O of the motherboard?
2) Should I connect this cable to the sata 3Gb or 6Gb headers for a non-powered e-sata connection?
