Thermaltake SpinQ VT Ticking...

Well I just changed my power supply to a 1000 w Xfx power supply and after finishing and booting up the system I started getting a random ticking noise. I tried to figure out what it was and I decided to give a little for to the cpu cooler, gentle hold and the noise stopped but when I removed my hand the noise started again. I was wondering if maybe there might have been something I could have done wrong when putting the new power supply in and I am looking for suggestions, whether buy a new cpu cooler or even take of and put it back on.

It sounds to me like your CPU cooler isn't anchored down properly, try re installing it, but make sure everything is done up properly.
