I heard different opinions on overclocking with ddr... some say 2100 is perfectly fine... others say you'll get problems...

So my question is if i know i will OC for sure, should i buy 2400 in the first place?

pc 2400 would be better if you overclock with the fsb... with multiplier as you do with athlons pc 2100 will be fine... if you can afford it get the pc 2400... with future upgrades (150/300 fsb athlon 4s for example...) it might prove useful but otherwise the pc 2100 is fine

Corsair is the only company currently with PC2400, just so you know.

You'll only need that if you want ram that's guaranteed to go to a 150 MHz FSB.

i dont have any evidence that this will happen but it is almost certain that it will happen... maybe not straight away but by the time 2 ghz is reached i think 150 fsb will become a standard... then again maybe not :)
