i have a core 2 duo at 2.4 and a 5770

i was able to run skyrim at 1080p on most of the settings set to the highest no aa tho and not on ultra.

so considering that your system is much stronger yes you will be able to play on max

Skyrim likes NVIDIA graphics cards more than AMD ones, so it should give you the results you want.

I'm running it on max on 1080p with a 2500k, 8GB and a gtx560ti 448 core, so yes.

Yes. But if you want to install some heavy graphic mods, that's another story.
