The Tempest 210 also has front USB 3.0, but has better cable management.

cheap & cheerful cpu cooling for a mild overclock with option to add 2nd fan for a few more degrees of cooling
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

or an enclosed water cooler if you plan on some more higher overclocking?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

or the double length rad version, just to make sure? ivy apparently has abit of a heat issue with high overclocks :??:

the 212 or clone of the 212 in the 20-40 dollar range will be fine for your rig. a good 650w ps from cosair will be fine for one card if your thinking of sli in the future think of getting a 750w unit.

really like that next case - just the look i want.

as far as hdd goes, i don't need a lot of space given that i'll be using this pc for only gaming - i've got plenty of external hdds and my macbook to store other things

thanks for all of the advice!

For heat sink i strongly advise against fisher price pretend water cooling such as the CORSAIR H series reason why is performance wise is no better than heat sinks that cost less lol pretty much a joke and waste of your hard earned money.Bottom line...to even call that water cooling is a insult to real water cooling IMO. Moving on... i recommend CPU Cooler:COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO RR-212E-20PK-R2 Continuous Direct Contact 120mm Sleeve CPU Cooler Compatible with latest Intel 2011/1366/1155 and AMD FM1/AM3+

for PSU i recommend PSU:SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
