HDD not detected in BIOS

Hi! I have a WD 250GB SATA. It is not detected in BIOS and cannot be used as a primary bootable device either. When I connect it with other HDD, it is showing all the partitions in My Computer and can be used as a secondary storage source. I want to install windows on it. Please help.

Make sure it is connected to an enabled controller. Many boards have a third party SATA controller that needs enabling in BIOS.
