Best choice for VMware Build Tags: New Build VMware Systems Last response: July 2, 2012 2:12 AM in Systems Share Bokran0 July 2, 2012 1:36:58 AM Hello, Im considering building a reasearch machine which will use VMware to run the following all at the same time: Windows: 7, 8 RC, exchange server, small business server, terminal server and maybe mac osx My base spec's so far are: 24 GB DDR3 1600mhz Vengeance ram 2 TB HDD Now for the cpu and mobo i was thinking either... i7 3820 + Asus P9X79 Pro i7 3770 + ? (no idea for a mobo) OR FX 8120 + Asus M5A97 I do want to keep it as cheap as possible any help will be throughly appreciated.
