Headset problem

Hello

Whenever I talk in Skype friends say they can hear themselves through my mic. My headset isn't loud enough for the mic to pic up the headphone volume. What i have to do?

Theres probably a short circuit in there somewhere. The quartz signal from your mic must be picking up signals from your wires that are supposed to to go to the headphones. (OR UR FRNDS HEADSET HAS A NOISE CANCELLING SYSTEM[THE OLD ONE!])

Okay. Should I get new, or can I repair them?

I could be the soundcard but i dont know much about them . I wont want to c ur money wasted so i advise you borrow a friend's headset just to make sure....

Repairs are easy once youve noticed the problems. The electric wire carrying the quartz signal is usually purple or green. As for the wire(s) going to the headphones that carries the signals for sound it's hard to guess.
