New Fx CPU and 2 Microsoft updates

When i purchased my AMD FX 6200 it was recommended that i also install 2 Microsoft updates: Windows 6.1 KB2646060-v3-x64, and KB2645594-x64. These updates where supposed to help the FX series work better with Windows. Are these updates needed with the new AMD FX 8350.

Yes. The way that they affect things still applies. If you used them before you should still do so now.
