Power supply making a little noise, is this normal ?

Hello all once again !

I've noticed that my PSU wich is a Cooler Master GX 750W, is making a little bit of noise, sort of electric noise, when im using my computer and even if it's closed.

Is this normal ?

I can't find much info on this at all on the internet, thank you very much for your help

My Fatal1ty does the same, yes it is normal.
  2. Could be "coil whine".

It's sort of common, and doesn't hurt anything, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having a quite fan on the PSU.
  3. I just checked coil whine, and that is really not what it does, it's more like a subtle electric sound
