hey guys i am upgrading my pc from a q9550s 4 gb ddr2 800 mhz ram and mobo dg31pr to this ( new build displayed in pic ) what i want to know is would this be a good upgrade and are the parts good to run games on highest btw my gpu is the ati radeon hd 5870 2gb ddr5 < tnx guys

    if you have a Q9550 and a HD 5870 from about 3 years back, you should still be good for most games.

  8. I would get a i5-2500k@3.3 ghz instead of the amd
    mobo-Get a gigabyte or asus board
    memory get kingston,corsair, or g.skill

  10. cores dont matter for gaming. intel is the better gaming brand
  11. can u maybe reccomend me some items of tht site and ill check them out plz tht would help alot , uhm i have 4000 rand budget and i have a ati radeon hd 5870 gpu corsair 600 w psu coolermaster v6gt cpu fan and a cooler master scout case

  14. Yeah but don't get an i7 the i5 is perfect for gaming. Get the memory and cpu i put and the mobo you put.

  17. Yeah i think atleast 3 years with no upgrades upgrading parts here and there every 3 or 4 years...8-10 years
