Is it worth it?

Hello, I'm preparing to buy a new pc(current one is about 3yrs old)and pretty much have it narrowed down. I'm somewhat pc savy and would love to build one from scratch but I'm not THAT savy. My pc usage is about 70% gaming, 20% online classes and research, and the other 10% online banking, media, social networking, and general web surfing, just to let everyone know what my priorities are. Pretty much what I'm asking for is just some helpful feedback. My budget is tight and I've been saving for about 6 months and am ready to upgrade.

Here are the specs of my current pc

Here are the two that I have been looking at

Now my main question is not which is better, but would it be worth it to spend the extra money for the better processor and graphics card. The hard drive size I'm not worried about, just is the proformance vs. price.

Thank you all in advance for any input on my insignificant dilemma.

I think it might be better to go for the better processor and graphics card but it depends on what kind of games you play. You may not even need it. I liked cyberpower too but the customer service wasn't really helpful I had way too many questions. Try www.ironsidecomputers.com the live chat guy will help you pick out exactly what you need for whatever game your playing. I told him I only play Diablo 3 and a couple older games and he told me I was overshooting with the system I picked out. Maybe they can help you.

Unless you wanted to build your own, which would be the much much much better choice, then the second one would be the better choice.

But in the long run, if you want more future-proof parts, there are much better options in terms of the processor.
