Hello all,

In about a month or so I should be building my first computer, I have most of the parts picked out. I am looking to do mostly gaming, games like Crysis 1 & 2, The Witcher 2, Skyrim etc...

And without further ado the build:

Case: Rosewill CHALLENGER-U3
Mobo:ASRock Z77 Pro3
CPU: Intel Core i5-2400
GPU: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6870
PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular
Ram: G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
HDD: Seagate Barracuda ST500DM002 500GB 7200 RPM
DVD Drive: ASUS 24X DVD Burner

Which brings the build to $718.92

I've been going back and forth over the current cpu and gpu pairing to this:

Intel Core i3-2120
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7850

If my calculations are correct it would be only $5 bucks more.

Now what I might do is go with the i3 2120 and Radeon 7850 and then save up and go for the 2400 or 2500k

Decisions, decisions.

Thanks!

I might check out that i5 3450, not too bad for $10 bucks more.

I can't check the motherboard specs right now, but I think it has two chassis fan connectors and one power fan connector since that might be the case, and the Rosewill case comes with three fans, I shouldn't have to do anything with Molex plugs or daisy chain them? For some reason that was a big point for me, which motherboard had the most case fan connectors.
