Is an Alienware Aurora R3 for $830 a good deal?

I have no real need except I would like a gaming rig and I feel it's a good deal. I currently have a maxed out 27" iMac I use for gaming. The convenience of a dedicated gaming computer would be a nice commodity.

It was bought in December 2011 has an i5-2400 3.2ghz, 6 gigs ram, duel Nvidia GT 545 video cards SLI'd and water cooled. Thanks for the advice.

You could make one that is better than that for $830 that is going to murder the Aurora:

Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge 3.1GHz

    MSI H67A-G43 (B3)

    XFX Radeon HD7850

Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX 500GB 7200 RPM
(you can always add space later)

    CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 V2 600W

    G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)

    ASUS 24X DVD Burner

    NZXT Source 210

    Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit

Total is $849, and it would blow the Alienware out of the water. If this is out of your budget, there are options as well.

And you can't say "I cant build a computer because I'm not electronically inclined."
The website that actually has all these parts also has a video series that is very thorough on how to build your own computer:
