Faulty HD 6970

Hi Guys,

I need to return my faulty HIS HD 6970 2GB card. The only problem is i put on a Aero cooler on it when i got it as the stock fan was too noisey for my liking. If i swap the cooler back to stock, will it still be accepted for warranty?

What brand is it? Some will some wont.

Cooler / Fan Replacement

We regret to inform you that we do not suggest users to replace or install the cooler/fan themselves, as it would damage the ASIC / graphic card and void the warranty. We could not supply the individual cooler/fan.

But that doesn't mean you can't put the stock cooler back on, just do it right and they might not notice.
