Help optimizing my system

Hello, I have built a mini itx htpc computer.

This is its specs

Amd A8-3820 cpu with radeon hd 6550D
8gb Corsair Vengeance 1866 MHz DDR3 Memory Kit
Gigabyte A75N-USB3 motherboard
hdd 2.5 500gb

The problem is that I cannot make my ram go past 1333mhz, as soon as I do, the system halts

could you help me please?

Couple of possibilites as to why your system crashes beyond 1333MHz.
1). Your motherboard won't support RAM at speeds above 1333MHz.
2). The RAM requires a higher voltage above 1333MHz, which the motherboard either cannot supply or has not been set to supply, I would suggest raising your DRAM voltage to 1.65V.

I'm sure it does support 1866, it says Dual-channel DDR3 2000+/1866/1600/1333
I'll try up the voltage then, thanks
