hi guys!! noob here

help me choose between powercolor's 6850 or evga's 550ti plan to buy not later this month and im torned on which of this graphics card is best

thanks guys..

The 6850 is according to Tom AMD's Radeon HD 6850 proved to be a worthy adversary against the 256-bit flavor of the GeForce GTX 460. And as a result, PC gamers win with exceptional performance at the $140 mark.

Both cards offer DirectX 11 support and HD audio bitstreaming capabilities. The main differentiators are Eyefinity multi-monitor support favoring the Radeon card, while the GeForce board has access to Nvidia's 3D Vision infrastructure that includes 3D gaming and Blu-ray 3D support. At the moment, 256-bit GeForce GTX 460 cards are being phased out, so AMD's offering gets our recommendation. You can read about it here http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-6870-radeon-hd-6850-barts,2776.html but keep in mind you can get gtx 460 right now for 99.99 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1781467&Sku=M452-0469

sure the 6850 is much better. See if you can find a better brand like sapphire, MSI, xfx, asus or even gigabyte.

That said. Whats your budget like? and your rig like?
